WE ARE HARDTAIL GANG
SOFT GOODS FOR HARD RIDERS
Hardtails aren't for everyone... But they're certainly for more people than currently ride them.
My name is Mick, and I like riding hardtails. If you're here, I assume you do too. I've found that most hardtail people are kind of weirdos about it, and weirdos like to wear shirts of the things they're weird about.
I made a shirt (the blue tie-dye one) and people liked it. So now I make lots of shirts (and hats and stickers and other things) in my garage and ship them around the world.
We don't call getting a full-suspension "upgrading" around here.
This isn't about ego-riding, gatekeeping, or being condescending. We just thinking riding hardtails is a unique and challenging experience that leads to fun in ways that you can't have on a more "capable" bike.
Blue trails become Black. Small rock gardens become an episode of "Into The Gnar". Your bike becomes a mechanical bull. You grin wider, you holler louder, your bones get extra jostled.
Our ride may be rougher and tougher, but we're not any better or cooler than FS friends. We just like riding hardtails. No egos allowed.
There are a ton of reasons someone might choose to ride a hardtail. I hope you find something here that resonates with why you choose to.
Seeya on the trails! -Mick
