CLOSING SHOP

HEY FRIENDS, THANKS FOR THE WILD RIDE

You may have noticed things have been very dead around here for the last year or so. I've finally decided it's time to close this thing up for now. That doesn't necessarily mean forever, but I don't currently have any plans for Hardtail Gang going forward.

The short of it is - due to starting a new family and starting a new job, I simply haven't ridden my bike more than once a year for the past 2 years.

Needless to say, it's hard to be motivated to put my tiny amount of free time into making mountain biking shirts when I hardly remember mountain biking.

Looking back, my goals with Hardtail Gang were:

- Explore a new creative outlet for something I love.

- Make connections with like-minded hardtail weirdos.

Goals achieved! I clocked in a little over 100 different orders from around the world. Had conversations with so many cool people. Made some designs I'm really proud of. This whole experiment was awesome and I'm still very grateful for everyone who bought anything, left me any supportive messages, and especially those that kept returning time after time.

This ending is not a tragedy to me! I'm actually quite happy with where my life is at right now, even if it doesn't contain riding my bike. I know it's just a season I'm currently in, and that someday I'll be thrilled to throw my leg back over my bike. I've got some incredible kids and a rockin' mama, and some new creative pursuits I'm really excited about.

Thanks for everything, everyone! See ya around!

P.S.

What will I do with my remaining stock, and what will happen to these designs?

I have a loose plan to start a new webstore at some point that won't be biking focused, but just house an eclectic mix of my designs. I'd plan to land Hardtail Gang back there as a small corner in a bigger space.

I will keep my current mailing list, and if I end up doing this, I'll send out a single email announcement about it.

However, if anyone is reading this and wants to potentially buy this thing off me, so I can pass the torch, I'd absolutely be open to talking about it!
